Powers of Attorney
We draft and provide advice in relation to Powers of Attorney. We will carefully discuss with you the various Powers of Attorney and advise you on which one is most appropriate for you.
There are many good reasons to make a Power of Attorney. For example, you may use it for a specific task such as allowing your Attorney to sign your contract on your behalf, or can use it to plan for the future, in the case where you become mentally incapable of acting.
There is however a few points you should keep in mind when choosing an Attorney. You must be able to trust the Attorney. You must ensure that the Attorney does not have a conflict of interest that would make it impossible to act in your best interests and you must ensure that the person you choose understands your wishes.
We will discuss all these issues with you to ensure that the person or persons you choose to be your Attorney is most appropriate for you.
